Littlehampton's High Street forms the spine of the town centre, mixing long-standing independent shops with familiar high street names, and leads down towards the harbour and seafront.
The High Street and The Arcade
Just off the High Street, The Arcade is a small pedestrianised shopping arcade built in 1922, with a glass and metal roof and a handful of independent units. Several High Street shops have traded in the town for decades, covering everything from sports goods and jewellery to bakeries and independent cafés — see our business directory for individual listings.
Seafront and harbour shopping
Down towards the beach, the East Beach Cafe and the shops and kiosks around Harbour Park and Norfolk Gardens cater more towards visitors, ice creams and seaside essentials, while Surrey Street and the streets around the harbour have a growing number of independent cafés and boutiques.
